Joyce Darlene Gacke, the daughter of Edward and Marguerite (Henning) Gacke, was born October 4, 1928 in Royal, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Royal, Iowa where she received her education, later attending Everly High School and graduating from Milford High School.
Joyce lived in Fostoria, Iowa for many years, where she worked as a Home Health nurse, taking care of elderly patients in her home. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and crocheting.
She passed away at the Spencer Hospital on Monday, July 10, 2017 at the age of 88. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, William.
