Judith 'Judy' Rae Amick

August 19, 1932 — February 3, 2012

Judith Rae Amick, the daughter of Harry and Viola Mary Clark Petersen, was born August 19, 1932 in Moneta, Iowa. Judy received her early education in Everly and graduated from the Everly High School in 1950. Judy married Don Marvin Amick on September 13, 1953 in Jackson MN. They began their married life in Spirit Lake, later moving to Everly. Don and Judy operated the J& D Caf� in Everly. Judy also worked for Florists, Gift Shops and cleaning businesses through the years. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Everly and the Red Hat Organization. In her spare time, Judy enjoyed the Everly Kitchen Band for 26 years, gardening and flowers. Her great love was her children and grandchildren. Judy passed away on February 3, 2012 at the Hill Top Care Center in Spirit Lake, Iowa at the age of 79. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Don on June 19, 1991; infant daughter, Susan, one granddaughter, Brandy Rae Amick and 3 infant great grandchildren. She is survived by her two sons: Gregory of Great Bend, KS and Bradley and his wife Amy of Lake Park, IA; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Ellen Miller of Bluff City, TN; other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, February 6, 2012 at Hope Lutheran Church in Everly.

VISITATION
Will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the Church.
