Julie Carpenter

Julie Lynn Carpenter, the daughter of Roger and Sandy Wieneke Carpenter was born March 8, 1969 in Spencer, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in the Spencer and Estherville, IA area where she attended school and graduated from Estherville High School. Julie married Greg Elmore on October 17, 1995 in Spirit Lake, Iowa. She was employed with Burger King. She enjoyed watching Minnesota Vikings football games, traveling, and shopping, but her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. Julie passed away Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Home in Estherville, Iowa, at the age of 44. She was preceded in death by her husband Greg on August 1, 2009, 2 grandmothers, Dorothy Getting and Evelyn Wieneke, 2 uncles, Gary Carpenter and Larry Wienke, and one cousin, Richard Stave. Left to cherish her memory is her son Shyloh Elmore of Spencer, Iowa; her parents Roger and Sandy of Spencer, Iowa; one brother, Ryan (Andrea) Carpenter of Spencer, Iowa; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

SERVICES

Memorial services will take place 2:00 P.M., Friday, August 9, at Warner Funeral Home in Spencer.
