Julie Faye White

     Julie Faye White, the daughter of Duane and Merna (Matheny) Laird, was born on July 13, 1956, in Spencer, Iowa. She was raised and received her early education here, graduating from Spencer High School. Following high school, she moved to Sioux City where she worked at several places. She worked for a pharmaceutical company as an office manager the longest. She spent most of her adult life in Spencer before moving to Spencer.

     She enjoyed playing games on her computer and spending time with her granddaughters when ever she got the chance. 

     Julie passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at the age of 67. She was preceded in death by her father, Duane; her grandson, Zachary and her 2 brothers: Mike and Kevin.

     Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Stephanie Hansen of Rapid City, SD; her mother, Merna Laird of Spencer, IA; her two granddaughters: Jessica Martin and Jordan Hawley; her 2 sisters: Debbie Burger of Spencer, IA and Laurie Belken of Ruthven, IA; other relatives and friends.
