June Lola Smith, the daughter of Arthew and Greeba (Miller) Smith was born June 24, 1932, in Spencer, Iowa. She received her education at Spencer High School.

Throughout her life, she lived in Spencer where she was a member of the First Baptist Church. June had a good sense of humor who enjoyed comedy shows that made her laugh. She also enjoyed people, hugs, celebrations, music, being the center of attention and a love for hot dogs, Kentucky fried chicken and plain hamburgers. Most of all, June loved her family. Highlights of her life were traveling, especially to Africa with her parents to visit her brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Helen Smith.

June passed away at the Spencer Hospital on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at the age of 88. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother and his wife, Paul and Helen Smith.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

SERVICES

Funeral services will be held
10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 28, at the First Baptist Church, Spencer, Iowa.

OFFICIATING

Pastor Curt Batschelet

VISITATION

Will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the First Baptist Church.
