Justin Randall Guerttman

Justin Randall Guerttman, the son of Randall and Gloria (Hinz) Guerttman, was born June 1, 1981 in Spencer, Iowa. His childhood years were spent in Spencer, where he received his education, graduating from Spencer High School. Following high school, Justin continued to live in Spencer, where he worked at Perry-Judds in Spencer, until the company closed in 2009. He was currently pursuing a degree in computer information technology at Iowa Lakes Community College. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer. Justin was passionate about movies, reading, music, computers and playing games with his three nephews: Kyle, Kayden and Brennan. Throughout the years, Justin also pursued his interests in drawing, painting and artwork and had taken a correspondence study in graphic design. Justin passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at his residence in Spencer on Friday, July 2, 2010 at the age of 29. He was preceded in death by his father Randall in 2007. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Gloria Guerttman of Spencer; three brothers: Kevin of Spencer, Bryan and wife, Amanda of Spencer and Matthew and wife, Rachael of Waukee, IA; three nephews: Kyle, Kayden and Brennan; other relatives and friends.
