Kenneth Lee Walker

Kenneth Lee Walker, the son of Ivan "Bud" and Hazel Knutson Walker, was born March 29, 1939 in Emmetsburg, IA. His childhood years were spent in Emmetsburg, where he received his education in Emmetsburg schools. Most of his adult life was spent in Spencer, where he worked at Aalf's Manufacturing for many years and later Hardee's. Ken married Helen K. Walker on May 1, 1993. Following their marriage, they continued to live in Spencer. He enjoyed watching the Iowa Hawkeyes and all sports. Kenneth passed away at Longhouse Residence in Spencer, Iowa on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at the age of 67. He was preceded in death by his father, Bud Walker and a sister, Betty Crawmer. He is survived by his wife, Helen of Spencer; his mother, Hazel Norris of Emmetsburg, IA; four sons: Bob Walker of Inwood, IA, Mike Walker of Hastings, NE, Tom Walker and his wife, Carla of Spencer and Dan Walker and his wife, Bobbi of Hartley, IA; a stepson, James Hofmeyer of Spencer; a step daughter, Jennifer Botcher and her husband, Dennis of Spencer; 10 grandchildren; two brothers: James Walker and his wife, Lela of Anamosa, IA and Donald "Butch" Walker and his wife, Susie of Emmetsburg, IA; other relatives and many friends.
