Kenneth Victor Chamberlain

Kenneth Victor Chamberlain, the son of Ralph and Alice Runion Chamberlain was born April 7, 1907 in Spencer, Iowa. His childhood years were spent on a farm north of Spencer, where he received his education in country schools and later graduated from Spencer High School. Ken married Cecelia Jones on August 22, 1934 in Sioux Falls, SD. Following their marriage, they farmed near Sioux Rapids, until retiring and moving into Sioux Rapids, where they made their home. They later moved to Florida, where they resided for 25 years. Ken had recently moved back to Spencer to be closer to his brother. He was a past member of Faith Lutheran Church in Sioux Rapids, IA and had recently become a member of First English Lutheran Church in Spencer. He enjoyed golfing in his spare time. Ken passed away at the Spencer Hospital on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at the age of 99. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Meta Jackson. He is survived by one brother, Leland and his wife, Dee Chamberlain of Spencer; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
