Kim Duff

August 21, 1959 — October 24, 2015

Kim Marie Duff, the daughter of Fredrick Jr. and Josephine (Templeman) Duff was born on August 21, 1959 in East Chicago, IN. Her childhood years were spent in the Hammond, IN area before moving to Iowa in 1970. Kim graduated from Spencer High School in 1978. She then started work for Sunshine Services and became a Sunshine resident in 1985. Kim enjoyed listening to country music, attending country concerts, coloring, making blankets, shopping, going to the fair and riding the rides, playing cards, and watching soap operas. She was a member of Kiwanis Action Club and Special Olympics. Kim passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Hawkeye Care Center in Sioux Rapids, IA, at the age of 56. She was preceded in death by her parents. Left to cherish her memory are one sister Michelle (Ronald) Boyd of Gosport, IN; one brother, Glen (Carole) Wells of St. Croix, Virgin Islands; lots of nieces and nephews; her Sunshine family; other relatives and many friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hope Haven - Sunshine Services Residential Care Facility.

SERVICES

Funeral services will take place 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 28, at Warner Funeral Home in Spencer
