Kristine Marie Garner

February 1, 1956 — July 22, 2012

Kristine Marie Garner, the daughter of Orval and Macyl Hamann, was born on February 1, 1956 in Storm Lake, Iowa. She spent most of her childhood in Albert City and attended Albert City - Truesdale High School. She lived several years in Fonda where she raised her family. After moving to Spencer in 1996 she fought and won her battle against breast cancer. Kriss enjoyed camping, reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also and had a passion for rescuing animals. Kriss passed away on July 22, 2012 at her home in Spencer at the age of 56. She was preceded in death by her parents, Macyl and Orval, and her brother, Kenny. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Israel of Spencer; her daughter, Jennifer Braunschweig and her husband, Jason of Lawton; three grandchildren: Tyson, Dylan and Jackson Braunschweig and two sisters: Beverly Jorgensen of Newell and Colleen Wall of Rock Rapids.

SERVICES

Memorial Services will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 28, 2012, at the Main Lutheran Church in Newell,Iowa.
