Larry James Rigby

Larry James Rigby, the son of George and Viola Smoot Rigby, was born May 10, 1943, in Emmetsburg, IA. His childhood years were spent in Laurens, IA where he attended school. Larry worked at Superior in Spencer and Stylecraft in Milford, IA. He married Dixie Zierke on February 10, 1971 in Worthington, MN. He was a member of First English Lutheran Church in Spencer. Larry passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the Primghar Care Center at the age of 67. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Jennifer in 1994. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Dixie of Spencer, IA; 6 brothers, Theodore (Donna) Rigby of Newton, IA, David (Beverly) Rigby, of Milford, IA, Michael Rigby of Sioux Falls, SD, Wayne Rigby of Fonda, IA, Daniel (Ann) Rigby of Spencer, IA, and Jonathon (Lisa) Rigby of Spencer, IA; 3 sisters, Helen (Larry) Gaddis of Withee, WI, Rochelle (Ronald) McGuire of Spencer, IA, and Pamela (John) Benda of Jackson, MN; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

SERVICES

Funeral services will take place 11:00 A.M. Thursday, April 14, at First English Lutheran Church in Spencer.
