Larry James Struve

     Larry James Struve, the son of Delmar and Shirley (Mortenson) Struve, was born November 10, 1948 in Sioux Rapids, Iowa.  His childhood years were spent on a farm between Royal and Moneta, Iowa, where he received his education, graduating from Everly High School in 1967.  After his schooling, he worked for Cash Way Lumber & Dillon Construction.  He later worked at Morton Buildings for more than 20 years. 

     In 1980, he met his special friend, Mary Peterson and they continued to live in Spencer.  He was a member of the Everly United Methodist Church.  Larry also loved hunting and fishing, pounding nails doing construction work, and riding his 4 wheeler. 

     Larry passed away at the Pearl Valley Rehab and Nursing Home in Primghar, Iowa on Friday, November 9, 2018 at the age of 69.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother in-law, and his special friend, Mary Peterson.

     Left to cherish his memory are his children: Gina (Jon) Muessigmann of Spencer, Charity Struve and her husband, Adan of Stockton, CA, Corry (Charlene) Struve of Modesta, CA and Brandy Struve of Modesto, CA; 7 grandchildren; three sisters: Carol Kluender of Hartley, Edith (Carl) Erickson of Albert City, LuAnne  Ginger & her special friend Ivan of Sanborn; one brother, Delbert (Donna) Struve of Hartley; other relatives and many friends.

SERVICES
Memorial services will be held 11:00a.m., Friday, November 16, 2018 at the United Methodist Church in Everly, IA.
