Larry Rod Strang

Larry Rod Strang, the son of Lawrence and Olivia Strang, was born January 1st, 1956 in Spencer, Ia. He grew up in Everly, Ia as a Cattlefeeder football player and loved playing trumpet in band. He then met Marcella Klyne and married in St. Ambroise, Manitoba, Canada on April 26, 1975. While raising their four children, he enjoyed truck driving and being a school bus driver for Clay Central Everly to support his family. Some of his passions in life was waterfowl hunting, watching Iowa Hawkeyes/Kansas City Chiefs football, listening to 70' s music, and being patriotic. After retirement he cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren. He passed away November 9, 2020 at the Spencer Hospital at the age of 64. Preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Olivia (Ducharme) Strang, one brother Barry Dean Strang and one sister Donna Oeltjenbruns. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Marcella Strang and their children Lawrence Phillip (Sherry) of Dodge Center, Mn, Paul (Joy) of Jackson, Mn, Victoria of Spencer, Ia, Michelle (Lloyd) Winne of Spencer, Ia., grandchildren and great grandchildren, and sisters Mina Wolf of Tusla, Ok and Peggy (Tim) Roskens of Spencer, Ia, as well as many other relatives and friends.

In Lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to the family in Larry's name.



















SERVICES
Memorial services will take place 10:30 A.M., Monday, November 16, at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.

Masks are encouraged.
