Larry Warren Lowe

October 3, 1943 — August 6, 2008

Larry was born on October 3, 1943. He is the son of Warren and Eva Lowe. Larry grew up in and around the Hiawatha / Robinson, Kansas area. He resided there until he graduated from high school. He then attended Highland, Kansas for a period of time followed by Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri for a semester. Larry then joined the Navy. Larry married Helen Joy Foster on June 18, 1975. He and Helen had two children, Cynthia Teresa born Oct. 18, 1976, in Falls City, Nebraska and Thomas Charles born on September 19, 1982, in St. Joseph, Missouri. Helen and Larry have been divorced since June 4, 1989. Larry was a truck driver until the doctors told him he no longer could. He always said truck driving was his life and wanted everyone he loved to know that he loved what he did. The past year has been a very good year for him and his family. A year of memories and phone calls reminiscing the past. Larry was preceded in death by all of his grand- parents: Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lovelady and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lowe; his mother, Eva Lowe (Oct. 13, 1989); and a baby sister, Charlotte Ann Lowe. Larry went home on August 6, 2008. The Lord took him from us at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa. He was surrounded by people who cared a lot for him. He went to the Lord peacefully and there he waits for us to join him for fishing one day. He is survived by his father, Warren Lowe; his children, Cynthia Teresa and Thomas Charles; his ex-wife, Helen Joy (Foster) Lowe; one sister, Kathy Larson; and one brother, Brad Lowe and his wife, Barbara.
