Lavonne Olive Anderson

LaVonne Olive Anderson, the daughter of Claude Allen and Linda Alice (Farquhar) Weaver was born June 26, 1928 in Sutherland, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Calumet, Iowa, where she received her education, graduating from Calumet High School. LaVonne worked as a dietician at Cherokee Hospital for 16 years, Millie's Rest Home for 3 years and Home Health Care before her retirement. She married Elwin Anderson on May 5, 1979 in Sutherland, Iowa. Following their marriage, they lived in Sutherland. She was an active member of the Church of Christ and was a member of the Christian workers. LaVonne passed away at the Sutherland Care Center in Sutherland, Iowa on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the age of 82. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elwin on December 29, 1995; one sister, Beverly Tuttle and two brothers: Robert and James Weaver. Left to cherish her memory are three brothers: Douglas Weaver and his wife, Sue of Sutherland, Burdette Weaver and his wife, Mavis of Paullina and Clyde Weaver of Lake Park, IA; two sisters: Maxine Ewoldt of Paullina and Marguerite Borland of Santa Monica, CA; a brother-in-law, John Tuttle of Cherokee; a sister-in-law, Velma Weaver of Larrabee, IA; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
