Leanne Arrowood, the daughter of Ronald Arrowood and Leah 'Jane' Mugge was born November 16, 1957 in Spencer, IA. Leanne received all of her early education and graduated High School in Spencer, IA. Later in her life she pursued a college education at Western Iowa Tech in Sioux City, IA, studying Early Childhood Development and Psychology.
Leanne was an active member of her community often focusing on fund-raising for her favorite charities and organizations, as well as helping with benefits for those in need.
Leanne loved working with the public at her family's cafe'. She enjoyed sharing her life and her time with her customers and considered many of them family. When Leanne was unable to continue working, she loved to stop in and have coffee with those that she cared about.
Leanne passed away on June 20, 2014 at her home following a battle with cancer. She was an extremely strong woman with a bold, carefree attitude. She maintained this attitude and charisma throughout her battle and she never gave up. Leanne passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends.
Leanne is preceded in death by her twin daughters (whom died at birth), her parents, both sets of grandparents, her brother Robert Arrowood, and her nephew Ryan Arrowood, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She is survived by her daughter Leah (Kai) Goberish; 2 sisters, Debbie (Jerry) Marlow and Penny (Kirby) Bussell; 3 grandchildren, Tjaden Jurgens, and Ethan and Isabella Goberish; nieces; nephews; great nieces and nephews; as well as other relatives and friends.
A special thank you to family, friends, and Gentiva Hospice for helping in the care and comfort of Leanne in her final days. Her family is forever grateful.
In Lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Leanne's name.

Memorial services will take place 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 25, at Warner Funeral Home in Spencer.
