Lillian Dempsey

September 18, 1930 — May 11, 2017

Lillian B. Dempsey, the daughter of Robert and Anne (Treaner) Byers, was born September 18, 1930 in Hartley, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Hartley, where she received her education and graduated from the Hartley High School. Lillian married Donald L. Dempsey on March 5, 1966 in Palas Verde, CA. After their marriage, they enjoyed traveling all over the world, golfing and spending time together. Over the years, a lot of their time was enjoyed at the Big Canyon Country Club, which is one of the most prestigious country clubs in the United States. She passed away at the Aegis of Dana Point Center in Capistrano Beach, CA on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the age of 86. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald in 2008; and her brothers and sisters. Lillian is survived by several nieces and nephews along with other relatives and friends.

SERVICES

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the Warner Chapel in Spencer, Iowa.
