Lillian Florence Pullen, the daughter of Millard and Mabel (McKerrick) Harvey was born January 22, 1914, in Bellingham, Washington. Her childhood years were spent in Bellingham where she attended school and graduated from Bellingham High School.
Following high school, Lillian worked in Civil Services in the state of Washington until 1945.
On September 5, 1945, Lillian was united in marriage to Gilbert Pullen in Washington. Lillian was a dedicated homemaker who stayed at home to raise her three children: Mark, Mead and Mary Jane.
Lillian was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Spencer. She was also a member of the Legion Auxiliary, Church Women Club, Farm Bureau, and Retarded Children Association. She also spent a lot of time volunteering in the community, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
On September 19, 2008, Lillian passed away at the Spencer Hospital at the age of 94. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert; her parents; and one son, Mead.
Left to cherish her memory our her son, Mark Pullen of Spencer; daughter Mary Jane Kuykendall of Hot Springs, Arkansas; one sister-in-law, Florence Rush of Spencer; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
SERVICES
Memorial graveside services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at Riverside Cemetery.
