Linda L. Lowe

Linda Lee Lowe, the daughter of Herman and Hilda Dreller Graen, was born July 2, 1943 in Hartley, Iowa. Her childhood days were spent in Royal, Iowa where she received her early education and graduated in 1961. Linda was an avid reader and worked at various jobs in food service as a cook at nursing homes and as a private care giver. She married Allen Lowe on August 25, 1964 in Jackson, MN at the Methodist Church. They lived in Royal, Everly and lastly in Milford, Iowa. Allen passed away on September 5, 2004. Linda left this earth to join those preceding her on June 10, 2017 at the age of 73 at the Spencer Hospital with her family by her side. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; 4 of her 7 siblings: Betty Willette, Leona Roadlander, Tom Graen and Delores Carlson; nieces and nephews. Linda is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Mike) Lucas; 2 granddaughters: Jessica (Tracy) Campbell of Spencer and Tanya (Byrant) Johnson of Graettinger, IA and 4 great grandchildren whom she loved; her brother, Richard (Linnea) Graen of Cedar Falls, IA; sisters: Doris Meridith of Texas and Shirley Wittrock of Milford, IA; brother-in-law, David (Marilyn) Lowe of Spencer; sister-in-law, Becky of Ohio. Linda loved helping people and was a kind and gentle lady who loved her family. She had much fun being around her nieces and nephews and loved family get-togethers. One of her greatest love was caring for her great grandchildren: Zoe, Kiersten, Elizabeth and Brantley. She will be greatly missed.
