Linda Lavonne Essick

Linda L. Essick, the daughter of Helen Petersen and step father, Marvin Petersen, and Lindsey Essick was born in Spencer, Iowa, on June 21, 1952. 

After a long illness, Linda passed away on September 19, 2020, at the Pearl Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing in Lake Park, Iowa, at the age of 68. 

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jody Johnson; mother and stepfather, Helen and Marvin Petersen; father, Lindsey Essick; sister, Connie Baker; grandparents; and aunts and uncles.  

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Jerry Marble and his son, Cody Marble; granddaughter, Elizabeth Hoffmafter; brother, Dennis Heins and wife, Dianna; sister, Debbie Kopel and husband, Daniel Kopel; brother, Charles Petersen and his life partner, Ron Schmidt; three great-grandchildren; four nieces; one nephew and other relatives and friends.
