Linda Rae Brown

Linda Rae Brown, the daughter of Ray and Delores (Stevenson) Brown, was born September 13, 1951, in Spencer, Iowa. Her entire life was spent in Spencer where she received her education. Linda enjoyed watching and playing "Wheel of Fortune", playing Bingo with her mother, gardening and yard work. Throughout her entire life, her focus was on her family and taking care of each and every one of them. She passed away at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa, on Saturday, September 22, 2012, at the age of 61 following a brief illness. Her parents preceded Linda in death. Left to cherish her memory are one son, Kevin Brown of Spencer, IA; a special man in her life, Donnie McGuire, whom she spent her last 38 years together with; two brothers: Bill and wife, Lisa Brown of Shelbina, MO, and Ray Brown of Des Moines, IA; one sister, Kathy and husband, Gene Norris of Durango, CO; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles; other relatives and friends.

SERVICES

Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.

Visitation will begin 5:00 P.M., Tuesday with the family present from 5 to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday evening at the Warner Funeral Home in Spencer.
