Lois B. Adams, the daughter of Edward and Lenora (Brown) Boers, was born September 2, 1920 in Milford, Iowa. She was raised in Milford and after the death of her father from injuries received in WWI, her mother remarried and she was raised by her and her stepfather, Alfred Dagfinson. She attended Milford Community School and later graduated from Milford High School. She later attended and graduated from Spencer School of Business.
Lois married Forrest Adams on October 16, 1949 in Spencer, Iowa. Following their marriage, they lived in Spencer all the rest of their lives together. She worked as a secretary for the Iowa State Employment Service and the Dept. of Enviromental Quality for 42 years until her retirement on April 8, 1983. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Spencer. Lois was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She passed away at the Hawkeye Care Center in Milford, Iowa on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at the age of 96. Lois was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Forrest in 2009 and three sisters: Marjorie, Ada and Dora.
Left to cherish her memory are several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M., Monday, December 12, 2016 at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.
