Lois M.Thiessen

Lois M. Thiessen, the daughter of Raymond and Iola (Johnson) Hyde, was born on March 26, 1939, in Spencer, Iowa. She was raised and received her early education in the Terril area, graduating from Terril High School. Lois married Larry Thiessen on September 6, 1959, in Terril, IA. Following their marriage, they were engaged in farming. Lois loved living on the farm and raising her family. Lois was an active member of the Everly United Methodist Church and Farm Bureau. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Humane Society and liked to read in her spare time. Most of all, Lois enjoyed spending time with her family and her cat, Coal. Lois passed away on June 23, 2012, at her home in Spencer at the age of 73. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry in 1994; her daughter, Michelle; a brother, Wayne Hyde and a sister, Ella Mae Wurz. Left to cherish her memory are her two sons: Wesley and Kevin both of Everly, IA; her two grandchildren: Nicole Lange and her husband, Justin and Jade Thiessen and her fianc�, Charlie Woodall; a brother, James Hyde and his wife, Marie of Albuquerque, NM; a sister-in-law, Karen Hyde of Albert City, IA; a brother-in-law, Ron Wurz of Napa, CA; other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
Memorial Services will be held 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at the United Methodist Church in Everly.
