Lois Pauline Larsen

     Lois Pauline Larsen, the daughter of Leslie and Della (Miller) Rossiter, was born November 4, 1926 in Spencer, Iowa.  Her childhood years were spent in Spencer, where she received her education, graduating from Spencer High School.

     Lois married Arnold “Arnie” William Larsen on June 14, 1949 in Jackson, MN and they lived the rest of their lives on the farm southwest of Spencer.  She was a farm wife and loved the role of raising her children.  Lois was an active member of First English Lutheran Church in Spencer as well as the 4-H.

     She passed away at her daughter’s home in Spirit Lake, Iowa on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the age of 91.  Lois was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arnie in 2015; one sister, Bonnie Rossiter and two grandsons: Salman DeLoughery and Andrew Larsen.

     Lois is survived by her children: Charles Larsen, James Larsen and Robert Larsen all of Spencer, Iowa, Joan Olive of Spirit Lake, Iowa, and Janet Zephier of Pickstown, SD; her grandchildren: Matt Larsen (Jill), LeAnne Praska (Nick), Lea Schuster (Brian), Crissia Bullock (Steven), Kelly Larsen and 13 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
