Lorraine Adeline Erichsen

August 30, 1921 — July 10, 2007

Lorraine Adeline Erichsen, the daughter of August and Neta Arp Miller, was born August 30, 1921 in Alta, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Storm Lake, Iowa, where she received her education, graduating from Storm Lake High School. Lorraine married Marvin Erichsen on July 2, 1944 in Storm Lake. Following their marriage, they moved to a farm north of Everly, Iowa, where they began farming. They moved to Storm Lake in 1949, where they continued farming and moved to Hartley, Iowa in 1961, where they farmed until their retirement in 1987. In 1987, they moved into the town of Hartley. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hartley. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family in her spare time. Lorraine passed away at the Prairie View Nursing Home in Sanborn, Iowa on Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at the age of 85. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters: Verna Prentice and Evelyn Steward. She is survived by her husband, Marvin Erichsen of Hartley; three sons and their wives: Thomas & Karolyn Erichsen of Spirit Lake, IA, Keith & Anjie Erichsen of Toronto, Canada and Alan & Lori Erichsen of Hartley, IA; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; one sister: Eleanore Otto of Storm Lake, IA; other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30A.M. on Friday, July 13, 2007 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hartley, Iowa.
