Lucille A. Green

October 24, 1917 — February 13, 2013

Lucille Green left us to be with the Lord this morning, February 13, 2013. She was 95 years old. Lucille left behind a son, Bill Green of Spencer, IA, a daughter and son-in-law, Sue and John Peterson of Bryan, TX., a granddaughter and her husband, Jodi and Roger Sheridan of Bryan, TX; a grandson and his wife John Michael and Brittany Peterson of Rowlett, TX. Lucille also has 4 great-grandchildren, Jessica Sheridan, Justin Sheridan, Riley Peterson and Truman Peterson. Lucille was born in Onarga, IL in October 24, 1917 to parents Charles and Ester Ward. Her mother died 6 years later and her family of 6 brothers and sisters was split up. Lucille was adopted by the Penry family. Lucille attended 10 years of formal education. She married Dale Green and moved to Urbana, IL. At retirement they moved to Sheldon, IL. from there they went to live with Bill in Iowa. She had a long and good life, enjoying homemaking and watching her family grow. She will be greatly missed.

SERVICES

Graveside services will be held 11:30 A.M.,Saturday at the Maplewood Cemetery in Rantoul, IL.
