Lucille Fear

October 27, 1925 — April 23, 2015

Lucille I. Fear, the daughter of Edward and Sophia (Kromminga) Bleeker, was born October 27, 1925 on the family farm near Spencer, Iowa. It was in that community she was raised and in the country schools that she received her early education. Lucy married Clifford W. Fear on February 7, 1942 in South Sioux City, NE. They lived in the Everly community throughout their marriage and for many years Lucy and Clifford owned and operated the Fear Truck Line. Lucy was a member of the United Methodist Church in Everly. Lucy moved to Spencer in 2007 and was a resident of the St. Luke Lutheran Campus until her death on April 23, 2015 at the age of 89. She loved to spend time with family and phone calls. She was an avid sports fan at all levels whether watching on TV, especially the Chicago Cubs and the Iowa Hawkeyes, or hearing about a family sporting event. Lucy was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; her daughter Bev and husband; son-in-law, Larry Walton; daughter-in-law, Joyce Fear; granddaughter Julie Maher; sister, Fran and husband; brother, Orville and wife. Left to cherish her memory are her 7 children: Don Fear; Betty Walton and Dean Holst; Steve and Rose Fear; Bonnie Fear; Bruce and Bonnie Fear; Becky and Mike Hatting; Brad Fear and special friend Beth. Also to cherish her are 30 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren, brother LaVern Bleeker and several nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, April 27, 2015 at Warner Funeral Home in Everly.

Will begin at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday with the family present from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Warner Funeral Home in Everly.
