Lucille Leone Lighter-Hebbel

April 27, 1909 — January 8, 2009

Lucille Leone Lighter-Hebbel, the daughter of Frank Leslie and Amina Kline Lighter, was born April 27, 1909 in Moneta, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Moneta, where she received her education. She married Fred Hebbel of Hartley. They lived on the family farm southwest of Hartley, until retirement, when they moved into Hartley. Lucille passed away at Longhouse Residence on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at the age of 99. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred; two sons: Dale and Robert; two sisters: Ora Tusehoff and Lola Vinton and two brothers: Harold and Glen Lighter. She is survived by one daughter, Gloria Hlebichuk of Elk River, MN; two grandsons: Dan and Tim; a great granddaughter, Amber; other relatives and friends.

SERVICES

Memorial services will be held 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.
