Mabel Armitta Byram

Mabel Armitta Byram, the daughter of Frank and Ethel (Bradley) Barry, was born March 14, 1911 in Weld County, rural Greeley, CO. She moved to Iowa with her parents when she was about 6 months old. On March 19, 1932, Mabel married McEwen (Mac) Byram at Canton, SD. During their marriage, they lived many years in Spencer, IA, where Mabel was employed at Steffen Furniture for nearly thirty years. Mabel passed away at Northshire Residence in Spencer, IA on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at the age of 99. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mac; a son, Roger in infancy; two sisters: Mildred Triplett and Helen Johnson; a brother, Russell Barry; two nephews: Burdell Triplett and Merlyn Triplett; two nieces: Evelyn Syndergaard and Maxine Cooper and a grand nephew, Ricky Stevens. She is survived by one niece and her husband, Yvonne and Harry Sands of Alta; three nephews and their wives: Donavan and Sue Johnson of Laurens, IA; Wayne and Carol Johnson of Rockford, IA Irene Triplett of Spencer, IA, Donna Triplett of Sutherland, IA and Ken Syndergaard of Peterson, IA; many great nieces and great great nieces and nephews.
SERVICES
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, December 6, 2010 at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.

Riverside Cemetery Spencer, Iowa A lunch and time of fellowship will be held at the Faith Pentecostal Church in Spencer, following the graveside services.
