Marc Wesley Crawmer

August 5, 1956 — July 1, 2011

Marc Wesley Crawmer, the son of James Crawmer and Sharon Simpson Hoppe, was born August 5, 1956, in Spencer, IA. His childhood years were spent in the Spencer area, until moving to Amboy, MN, where he graduated from Amboy High School. Marc enlisted in the Army and the Navy Reserve. He graduated from Voc-Tech in Jackson, MN, as a master electrician. He was married to Shirley Crawmer for 25 years. Marc enjoyed working, kayaking, hunting with "his boys", and restoring old tractors. He was a big supporter of wind energy in northwest Iowa. Marc passed away on Friday, July 1, at the age of 54. He was preceded in death by his mother; one brother, Scott Hoppe; two sisters, Sheri Osborne and Janine Hoppe; grandparents, Leo and Emmagene Simpson, Harvey and Anna Crawmer; and his step-father, Al Hoppe. Left to cherish his memory are one daughter, Jean (Todd) Bredehoeft; 2 sons, Trin Crawmer of New Brunswick, Canada and Travis (Lela) Crawmer, of Spencer, IA; his father, Jim (Geri) Crawmer; 3 brothers, Jim Crawmer of Alabama, David (Deb) Crawmer of Algona, IA, and Bill Hoppe of Arizona; 6 grandchildren, Dalton and Mercedes Bredehoeft, Tanya, Cheyenne, Zane, and Rebecca Crawmer; 5 nephews, Jimmy Marc Chris and Mike Crawmer, and Corey Butcher; 3 nieces, Kadee and Heather Newkirk, and Courtney Hoppe; other relatives and many friends.

SERVICES

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 6, at Warner Funeral Home, Spencer, Iowa.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 5, at the Warner Funeral Home, starting at 4:00 P.M., with family present 5-7:00 P.M.
