Marcelle Carol Strang

     Marcella Carol Strang, the daughter of Phillip and Delima (Chrantrand) Klyne was born September 13, 1957 in Saint Ambroise, Manitoba, Canada. Her childhood years were spent in the St. Ambroise area, where she attended school and graduated from St. Laurent High School.

     Marcella married Larry Strang on April 26, 1975 in St. Ambroise. She worked as a nursing assistant at St. Luke’s and Longhouse nursing homes in Spencer, IA. She enjoyed crafting, gardening, and reading. She was a member of Foundation Assembly of God Church in Spencer, IA.

     Marcella passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023 at the age of 65, at the Spencer Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 3 brothers, Phillip, Richard, and John Klyne, and 4 sisters, Sally, Lorraine, Elaine, and Rosemarie.

     Left to cherish her memory are her 4 children, Lawrence (Sherry) Strang of Dodge Center, MN, Paul (Joy) Strang of Jackson, MN, Victoria Strang of Spencer, IA, and Michelle (Lloyd) Winne of Spencer, IA; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Eugene and Marc Klyne; one sister, Arlene Klyne; other relatives and many friends.
