Margaret Ann Doyle

Margaret Ann Doyle the daughter of Robert and Mary Farrell Munn, was born March 9, 1948 in Fort Dodge, Iowa.  She received her early education in Fort Dodge and later in Emmetsburg, Iowa where she graduated from Emmetsburg Catholic High School in 1966.  Margaret continued her education at Anton Community  College of Practical Nursing graduating in 1969.

     Margaret married Emmet Eugene Doyle on November 15, 1969, in Ayrshire.  Following their marriage, they lived in Royal, Iowa.  Margaret was a Daycare Provider, L.P.N. at Longhouse, Postal Service in Primghar and Hartley also had worked at Hope Haven.  Margaret was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Royal, serving on Alter Society for 35 years, taught CCD and served as Eucharistic Minister.  In her spare time, Margaret enjoyed crafts, sewing, refinishing furniture and spending time with her family.

     She passed away at Spencer Hospital on Monday, December 23, 2019, at the age of 71.  Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Emmet; two brothers: Pat Munn and Mike Munn; one sister, Kay Zelinski.

     Left to cherish her memory are her sons: Shawn (Shelly) Doyle of Spirit Lake, IA and Stacy (Tricia) Doyle of Hartley, IA; 9 grandchildren: Dustin, Devin, Dylan and Daisie Doyle, Tilara Wilson, Tyler, Teagan, Tevin and Tristan Hills; 5 great-grandchildren: Braylee, Carter and James Doyle, Madalyn Cruse and Asher Hills; 1 brother, Ned (Mary Ellen) Munn of Emmetsburg, IA; other relatives and friends.
