Margaret June Calvert Miner was born on June 21, 1925. Kally and Grace Amick Calvert were the proud parents. Margaret was born on a farm north of Dickens, IA.
She attended country school in Freeman Township-Barkiw #2 through the eighth grade. She graduated from Dickens High School in 1941. Margaret played basketball on the school team 4 years and sang in the glee club.
On July 14, 1943, she was united in marriage to Albert D. Miner at the Methodist Parsonage in Spencer, IA. The Miners Lived on a farm in Logan Township all of their married life. They were parents of Dwight, June, Kelly, Jean and Jane.
Margaret is survived by her children and their spouses; Dwight and Niki Miner, June and roger Nixon, Kelly and Ruth Miner, Jean and Arnold Tripp and Jane and Bart Snyder; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; one sister, Norma and Dale Oppidal; one nephew, Archie Andrews and one great-nephew, Joel Andrews and Feronna. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert; parents, Kelly and Grace; 3 brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law.
Margaret Moved to Aurora, MO nine years ago. Having failing Health for the last 6 years curtailed her activities, but she made the best of it, staying active as long as she could. Margaret passed away at Cox Hospital in Springfield, MO on Friday, November 24, 2006.
She was a devoted wife, mother and sister. She will be truly missed by all.

Funeral Services will be held 1:30 P.M., Wednesday, November 29,2006 at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.
