Margaret June Mueller

    Margaret June Mueller, the daughter of Martin and Ellen (Emanuelson) Jones, was born June 5, 1928 in Linn Grove, IA.  Her childhood years were spent in Peterson, where she received her education, graduating from Peterson High School in 1946.  She worked as a waitress after her schooling.

     Margaret married John “Jack” Mueller on January 24, 1948 in Spencer, Iowa.  After their marriage, they lived their entire lives in Peterson with the exception of 5 years spent in Spencer, Iowa.  She worked as a press operator at Witco in Spencer from 1968 until her retirement in 1992.  She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church in Peterson.  She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family.

     She passed away at St. Luke Regional Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the age of 89. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John in 1992; a brother, Marvin Jones; grandson, Luke Mueller; brother-in-law, Don Sullivan and a sister-in-law, June Jones Jacobson.

     Left to cherish her memory are her four children: Ronald (Bonnie) Mueller of Peterson, Michael (Terri) Mueller of Lake Park, IA, Linda (Bill) Eaton of Peterson and Lori (Gordy) Richter of Sutherland, IA; 12 grandchildren;  29 great grandchildren; one sister, Joyce Sullivan of Arnolds Park, IA; other relatives and friends.
