Margaret Mary Joynt, the daughter of Harold and Thelma Spear Theesfeld was born August 15, 1955 in Estherville, IA. Her childhood years were spent in the Mallard, IA area, where she attended Mallard schools. After graduating from Mallard High School in 1974 she married Pat Joynt.
Margaret worked for Terra in Emmetsburg, IA, drove truck, worked at Pasqualies Pizza, and H&N, before working as a C.N.A for St. Luke's and Spencer Hospital until her health forced her to retire. She enjoyed her dogs, Kenzie and Bits, watching car races especially Dale Earnhardt and her son Brady. She was a people person and a huge fan of chocolate. She was also proud of her donations to animal shelters.
Margaret passed away Thursday, August 2, 2012 at home at the age of 56. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers, Dennis and Stephen Theesfeld.
Left to cherish her memory are her son Brady Joynt of Spencer, IA; 2 brothers, Gerald (Patricia) Theesfeld of Emmetsburg, IA, and Robert Theesfeld of Spencer, IA; one sister, Catherine (John) Kirschbaum of Spencer, IA; Nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
SERVICES
Funeral services will take place 10:30 A.M., Monday, August 6, at Warner Funeral Chapel in Spencer.
