Margaret Voss

Margaret Evelyn Voss, the daughter of Glenn and Luella (Huffman) Ginger was born May 18, 1931 in Langdon, Iowa. She grew up and attended school in Spencer, graduating in 1950. She then attended Buena Vista College for two years. Margaret married Myron "Popps" Voss on May 21, 1953 in Langdon, Iowa. She taught 5th grade in Ocheyedan, IA before getting married. She enjoyed word searches, writing letters, and watching the food network, but her biggest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren. Margaret passed away August 19, at Rosewood Manor in Estherville, Iowa, at the age of 79. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Myron, a sister-in-law, Lorrie Ginger, a brother-in-law, Donald Brehmer, and a nephew, Brian Brehmer. Left to cherish her memory are her 3 daughters, Marleen Voss of Spencer, IA, Martha (Randy) Killmer of Spencer, IA, Mary Pollock of Fostoria, IA; 2 sons, Merle Voss of South Weber, UT, and Marlin (Linda) Voss of Fostoria, IA; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; one sister, Lois Ginger of Houston, TX; one brother, Richard Ginger of Little Falls, MN; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
