Margaret Wilma Kleinheksel

October 21, 1914 — January 1, 2006

Margaret Wilma Kleinheksel, the daughter of William and Josephine VanderWilt, was born on October 21, 1914, in Middleburg, Iowa. She received her early education attending school in Newkirk, Iowa. Margaret married Johnnie Kleinheksel on February 20, 1932. Following his discharge from the military in 1945, they lived in Archer where they owned and operated the Archer Grocery and Caf�, and Archer Plumbing and Heating for many years. They moved to Orange City in 1963, where she worked as a cook for Northwestern College. Margaret loved to spend time with and take care of her family. She also liked to make pies and sweet rolls. Margaret passed away at the Spencer Hospital on January 1, 2006, at the age 91. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, Billy and two sisters: Tracy and June. Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters: Jeannie Seely and her husband, Stuart of Spencer, IA; Margo deHaas of Spencer, IA and Joni Fisher of Spencer, IA and her fianc�, Jack Powers of Brewster, MN; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 2 step-great grandchildren; her neighbor and caregiver, Ann Van Hill; caregiver, Hilda Schomaker; other relatives and friends.
