Margery Mae Fraseur, daughter of Bertha and Herbert Maurer, was born September 28, 1923 in Tipton, Iowa. She attended grade school, high school, and junior college in Tipton before leaving to study liberal arts at the University of Iowa.
Marge moved to Chicago and worked briefly for United Airlines as a reservationist until December 1947 when she married her Tipton sweetheart, George Fraseur. She loved her family and never missed a chance to spend time at one of her children’s homes making memories with her grandchildren. She played the baritone, was an accomplished seamstress, and avid knitter. She loved music, art, travel, bird watching, teddy bears and chocolate.
