Marguerite 'Margie' Rae Umbrell

Marguerite 'Margie' Rae Umbrell, the daughter of Marvin Umbrell and Barbara Winthers, was born July 27, 1966 in Spencer, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Spencer, where she received her education in Spencer schools. After her schooling, she worked for many years at A & M Laundry. In recent years, she worked as a cook at Hardee's, Burger King and A & W Restaurants. Margie passed away unexpectedly at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the age of 48. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. She is survived by her father, Marv Umbrell of Spencer; her mother, Barbara McDonough of Spencer; one brother, Shane Umbrell and his wife, Heidi of Chandler, AZ; two sisters: Renee and her husband, Paul Freeman of Spencer and Heidi and her husband, Chris Taylor of Spencer; nieces: Destiny Gilmore, Reannen Taylor, Madysen and Shelby Freeman and nephews: Challer Wadsley, Levi Gilmore and Nicholas Umbrell; other relatives and friends.

SERVICES

Memorial services will be held 10:30 A.M., Thursday, February 12, 2015 at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.
