Marie Charlotte Freitag

Marie Charlotte Freitag, the daughter of Frank and June Randall Horck, was born June 6, 1935 in Waubun, MN. She received her early education and graduated from Waubun High School. Marie married Gerald Freitag on January 21, 1956 in New Port, MN. Following their marriage, they lived in the St. Paul area for 53 years until moving to Spencer in 2004. Marie enjoyed going through cookbooks and cooking. Most of all, Marie enjoyed spending time with her family. Marie passed away on February 22, 2013, at Longhouse Residence in Spencer at the age of 77. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Gerald on December 10, 2011. She is survived by her son, Scott Freitag of Spencer; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. IN MEMORY OF MARIE C.
