Marie Ellen Galbraith

January 11, 1927 — May 12, 2008

Marie Ellen Galbraith, the daughter of Marques Alexander and Florence Amanda (Barglof) Miller was born on January 11, 1927 in Greenville, Iowa. She received her early education in Spencer. On January 13, 1945, Marie married Frank Galbraith in Spencer, IA and following their marriage, they lived in Spencer. Marie was a homemaker. She loved her family and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. Nature had always been her sanctuary, as was her faithful companion Pepper. Marie didn't like goodbyes, she always said, "Happy Trails". Marie passed away on May 12, 2008, at the Spencer Hospital, at the age of 81. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Frank, on June 16, 2000 and one brother, Darrell Miller. Left to cherish her memory are her three children: Mark Galbraith of Storm Lake, IA, Sheila Edwardson of Rembrandt, IA and Kent Galbraith of Spencer, IA; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
