Marilyn Mae Gathman, the daughter of Wilbur and Gertrude Leslie, was born May 22, 1936 in Everly, Iowa. She received her early education in Everly and graduated from the Everly High School in 1954. Her grandchildren helped to fulfill her life and made it very enjoyable spending as much time as possible with them. She liked to golf and bowl. Her favorite time was the time she spent with the love of her life, her husband, whether it was doing yard work or other things.
