Marion Ellen Gove Taylor

Marion Ellen (Gove)Cutting, Whitney, Taylor The daughter of Earl Willis Gove and Deborah Jane Bowie. Marion was born in Bellows Falls, Vermont on 15 Feb. 1937. Living in the New England States most of her life, Marion has 4 siblings. Joyce who passed in 2010, Neil who passed in 1986, Robert and Willis Gove. She married Edmund Earl Cutting II and had 4 children with him: Marion Ellen, Alice Grace, Judy Ann and Edmund Earl III. After divorcing Edmund she married Irving Whitney. They had one child, Ruth Mae. After divorcing Irving she moved to El Paso, Texas where she lived for over 18 years. During this time she married James Melvin Taylor AKA Smokey who passed in 1983 at which time she became a widow. Marion held many jobs in her life: working in factories, traveling with the carnival and many other odd jobs. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She is known best for giving a smile to those who needed one. She gave to the church every year during the holidays. She was known in Peterson for her 'Haunted Gazebo'. Marion's immediate surviving family is Marion Ellen Billau with husband Dennis, Alice Nagle, Judy Ann Cory with husband Brian, Edmund Earl Cutting III (Sonny) with wife Elaine and Ruth Mae Whitney. Marion was blessed with 18 surviving grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
SERVICES
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the First Congregational Church in Peterson.
