 Marjorie Ann Endorf, 88, of Sloan, Iowa died Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Pleasant View Care Center in Whiting, Iowa.

     Marjorie Ann was born December 29, 1929 in Dixon County, Nebraska the daughter of Walter and Ella (Coughtry) Harvey. She grew up in Sloan, Iowa where she graduated from Sloan High School.

     She was united in marriage to David Hunter in 1949 at Onawa, Iowa and two children were born to this union, Ann Elizabeth and Gerald Lee. She later married Dennis Endorf in 1956 at Worthington, MN. Dennis passed away August 4, 1991.

     Marjorie worked for Montgomery Ward in Council Bluffs, Iowa for several years. She and Dennis moved to Spencer, Iowa in 1966. While in Spencer, Marjorie worked in various retail stores. She also cared for her mother-in-law, Clara Scott until Clara’s passing.

     Marjorie enjoyed her crafts, especially painting, knitting, and crocheting.

     She was a member of Eastern Star and the Social Order of Beauceant. She was also a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Spencer, Iowa and more recently the Evangelical Covenant Church in Sloan, Iowa.

     Survivors include her daughter, Ann Elizabeth Egland of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; grandchildren, Rebecca (Rod) Luing and Eric Shatto; great-grandchildren, Makayla Luing and Carter Luing; two brothers, Edward (Wanda) Harvey of Sloan, Iowa and Robert (Ann) Harvey of Lawton, Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ella (Coughtry) Harvey; infant son, Gerald Lee Hunter; and one brother, Edwin James Harvey.

SERVICES
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer.
