Marjorie Elaine Mccann

January 21, 1937 — July 5, 2013

Marjorie Elaine McCann, the daughter of Julius and Olma Seaman Phillips was born January 21, 1937 in Sioux City, IA. Her childhood years were spent in the Laurens, IA area where she graduated from Laurens High School before attending Morningside College in Sioux City, IA. Marjorie married Dale McCann on February 7, 1974 in Arnolds Park, IA. She worked for Sunshine Services. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Spencer. She enjoyed riding horses as a child and spending time with family was always very important to her. Marjorie passed away on Friday, July 5, 2013 at Longhouse Residence in Spencer, IA, at the age of 76. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dale on September 11, 1980, and her brother Donn. Left to cherish her memory is her son Gary (Brittany) McCann of Rolfe, IA; 7 grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

SERVICES

Funeral services will take place 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, July 10, at Warner Funeral Chapel in Spencer.

Visitation will take place Tuesday, July 9, at Warner Funeral Home in Spencer, starting at 5:00 P.M., with family present from 5-7:00 P.M.
