Marjorie Emma Krogh, the daughter of Albert and Annie Lewis Willard was born September 23, 1924, in Woodbury, IA. Her childhood years were spent in the Woodbury area where she attended Willow Township schools.
Marjorie married Nels Willie Krogh on January 16, 1955, in Spirit Lake, IA. They made their home in Dickens, IA, until moving to Spencer in 1982, where she worked as a homemaker.
Marjorie enjoyed quilting, doing crossword puzzles, reading, and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Dickens Community Club, Eagles Auxiliary, Spencer Senior Center, American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries.
Marjorie passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014, at St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer, IA, at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers: Gerald, Dale, and Kenny Willard; and one sister, Leona Fuller.
Left to cherish her memory are her four children: Larry (Evelyn) Krogh of Spencer, IA, David (Betty) Krogh of Dickens, IA, Gary Krogh of Spencer, IA, and Janice Krogh and fianc�, Barry Cobler of Gum Spring, VA; four grandsons: Jason (Brandy) of Ft. Campbell, KY, David (Molly) of Mt. Home AFB, ID, Gary of Spirit Lake, IA, Micheal of Minot AFB, ND; one granddaughter, Amie Ormsby (Max) of Parma, ID; 6 great-grandsons: Sean, Ethan, Blake, Karson, Kolten, and Walon; one great-granddaughter, Claire; other relatives and many friends
SERVICES
Memorial services will take place 10:30 A.M., Friday, March 21, at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.
