86 years of age plus 60 years of marriage
made Mom the mother of 3,
and started our family tree.
3 granddaughters and
1 grandson have all grown up,
and added a great grandson.
A farmer's wife right from
the start, helping on the farm,
was dear to her heart.
Spring planting to fall harvest
And calfing in between, mom in bib overalls
was really quite a scene.
If we had a problem she was always there to listen,
Her advice opinion or scolding
Is what we'll be missin.
Today mom will enter the everlasting life,
and be rejoined with dad, as husband and wife.
