Mary Ann Peters

July 18, 1946 — September 9, 2012

Mary Ann Peters, the daughter of Henry and Irene (Howuen) Engelkes,was born on July 18, 1946 in Sibley, IA and she also attended school there. Mary married Robert L. Peters on December 5, 1962 in Rock Rapids, IA. Following their marriage, they resided in Hartley, IA. Mary worked at St. Luke's Nursing Home and the Hartley Care Center for several years. Mary passed away on September 9, 2012, at her home in Hartley at the age of 66. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her parents and a granddaughter, Charlene. Left to cherish her memory are two sons: Bobby (Killmer) Peters and his wife, Jackie of Spencer, IA and Robert Peters of Hartley, IA; four daughters:Roxann Roth and her husband, Marty of Hartley, IA, Barbara Hayden and her husband, Larry, of Corydon, IA, Diane Brown and her husband, Gene of Hartley,IA and Kathy Daniels of Sheldon; 16 grandchildren; 17 grandchildren; one brother, William Engelkes of Hartly, IA; other relatives and friends.

SERVICES

Graveside Services will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, September 13, 2012, at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Hartley.

Visitation will be from 9:00 - 10:30A.M., Thursday before the service at the Warner Funeral Home in Everly.
