Mary Darlene Curry, the daughter of Edward and Marie McNally Kunert was born September 18, 1934 in Emmetsburg, IA. She attended school in Emmetsburg before moving to Spencer. Mary married Donald Curry on November 5, 1952 in Spencer, IA. She enjoyed shopping, long car rides, walks, listening to classical music and especially spending time with family. Mary passed away at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at the age of 77. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; 2 brothers, Joe and Bobby Kunert; and 2 sisters, Geraldine Curry and Gwenivere Swenson. Left to cherish her memory are her 5 children, Kate (Duane) Stouffer of Spencer, IA, Richard (Pam) Curry of Chatfield, MN, Terry (Val) Curry of Spencer, IA, Deborah (Gary) Kalstad of Lakeville, MN, and Pam (Darcy) Zehnder of Farmington, MN; 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; one sister, Lorrain Fay of Wallingford, IA; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and many friends.

SERVICES

Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m., Thursday, July 12, at the Warner Chapel, Spencer, Iowa.
