Mary Louise Sunday, the daughter of Harry E. and Frances Mary Martinek Harford, was born July 7, 1930 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Cedar Rapids, where she received her education, graduating from Cedar Rapids High School.
Mary married Harold Mervin Sunday on July 17, 1951 in Calmar, Iowa. They lived in Calmar, while her husband worked in Cedar Rapids for 3 years. In 1962, they moved to Spencer, Iowa, where she worked at Heartland Press for almost 20 years. Mary was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer.
Mary passed away at the Spencer Hospital on Friday, December 15, 2006 at the age of 76. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Harold on April 3, 1986.
She is survived by two sons and their wives: Wayne and Paula Sunday of Huxley, IA and Gregory and Tina Sunday of Spencer, Iowa; three grandchildren; one great granddaughter; one sister, Sally I. Warner of Norman, OK; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 19, 2006, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer.
